Terms of Service
1. Who you are dealing with
This website is operated by Private Student Relief, an independent consulting and matching organization. By using this site you agree to these terms.
We are not, and do not claim to be: a lender, a loan servicer, a bank, a law firm, a credit repair organization, a debt settlement company, a government agency, or an affiliate, partner, agent or authorized representative of any lender or servicer.
2. What we do
- We review your private student loan situation at no cost and with no obligation
- We explain which relief strategies may realistically apply to your circumstances
- If you qualify, we introduce you by name to a vetted independent partner provider
- We tell you plainly when none of the available routes fit your case
3. What we do not do
- We do not provide legal, tax, accounting or financial advice
- We do not assume your debt or make payments to your creditors
- We do not negotiate with lenders on your behalf — the partner provider performs that work
- We do not work with federal student loans
- We do not repair credit or promise any change to your credit score
- We do not guarantee any specific outcome, reduction amount or timeline
4. No guarantee of results
Any figures, case studies, timelines or percentages shown on this website are illustrative examples of past outcomes and are not a promise or prediction of what will happen in your case. Results depend on your lender, your balance, your credit, your documented hardship, your state of residence and factors outside anyone's control. Some borrowers do not qualify for any relief route. Nobody can honestly promise you a specific result before reviewing your situation.
5. Our partner provider
The debt validation work is performed by Panamerican Consulting, LLC, an independent company operating under its own business credentials. If you decide to proceed:
- You enter into a separate agreement directly with that provider
- Their fees are disclosed to you in writing before you sign anything
- No fees are charged upfront. Federal rules prohibit charging for debt relief services before results are delivered
- Their terms, not ours, govern that relationship
Ratings, accreditations and years of industry tenure referenced on this website belong to that provider, not to Private Student Relief.
6. Third-party trademarks
Sallie Mae is a registered trademark of Sallie Mae Bank. Navient is a registered trademark of Navient Corporation. All other lender and servicer names are the property of their respective owners.
Private Student Relief has no affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship or authorization from any of them. Those names appear on this site solely to describe the type of loan we help borrowers evaluate. This is descriptive nominative use and implies no relationship whatsoever.
7. Eligibility and geographic limits
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States. We do not offer services in South Carolina or Mississippi due to state regulations. We serve the other 48 states.
8. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information. We cannot assess your situation from inaccurate figures
- Understand that stopping payments to a lender is your decision alone, based on your own hardship
- Review any agreement with the partner provider before signing it
- Seek independent legal or tax advice where your situation calls for it
9. Consent to contact
By submitting the form you consent to be contacted at the phone number and email address you provide, including by automated technology and text message. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You may withdraw it at any time by replying STOP, unsubscribing, or calling (888) 759-7274.
10. Informational content
Everything on this website is for general information only. Laws and lender policies change, and general information cannot account for your particular circumstances. Nothing here creates an attorney-client, fiduciary or advisory relationship.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Private Student Relief is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or from decisions you make based on general information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
