We mention lender and servicer names for one reason: to describe the type of loan we help borrowers evaluate. Someone searching for help with a Sallie Mae loan needs to know whether we assist with Sallie Mae loans. That is descriptive nominative use, permitted under trademark law, and it implies no relationship of any kind.
