About Us

Who We Are and What We Actually Do

Plain language, no marketing. If anything here is unclear, call us and ask.

What Private Student Relief is

Private Student Relief is an independent consulting and matching organization that has served borrowers since 2016. We help people who owe money on private student loans understand which relief strategies realistically apply to their situation, and we connect the ones who qualify with a vetted partner provider that carries out the work.

We are an independent company. We are not a lender, a servicer, a bank, a law firm, a government agency, or a debt settlement company. We do not issue loans, we do not service loans, and we do not collect debts.

What we do

  • Review your private student loan situation at no cost and with no obligation
  • Explain which relief routes apply to your balance, your servicer and your loan status
  • Introduce qualified borrowers, by name, to a vetted partner provider
  • Tell you plainly when none of the available routes fit your case

What we do not do

  • We do not provide legal, tax or financial advice
  • We do not assume your debt or make payments to your creditors
  • We do not negotiate with lenders on your behalf — the partner provider does that work
  • We do not work with federal student loans. Those programs are free at StudentAid.gov
  • We do not guarantee any particular outcome, amount or timeline
  • We do not charge before results are delivered

Our Relationship With Lenders and Servicers

We are not affiliated with any lender or servicer

Private Student Relief has no affiliation, partnership, endorsement, sponsorship or authorization from Sallie Mae Bank, Navient Corporation, Discover, Wells Fargo, Citizens Bank, SoFi, or any other lender or servicer mentioned anywhere on this website.

Those names appear on our pages for one reason only: to describe the type of loans we help borrowers evaluate. A borrower searching for help with a Sallie Mae loan needs to know whether we can help with a Sallie Mae loan. That is nominative use, and it does not imply any relationship.

Sallie Mae is a registered trademark of Sallie Mae Bank. Navient is a registered trademark of Navient Corporation. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

If you are looking for the official website of your lender, go directly to your lender. This is not it.

Our Partner Provider

Who Does the Actual Work

When a borrower qualifies, we introduce them by name to Panamerican Consulting, LLC, an independent company that performs the FDCPA-compliant debt validation and lender communication. You sign directly with them, and their fees are disclosed to you in writing before you sign anything.

The ratings and credentials referenced across this website belong to that partner provider, not to Private Student Relief: BBB Accredited since February 2016 with an A+ rating, 4.91/5 across 984 verified customer reviews, in business since 2011, and a member of the American Association for Debt Resolution.
